Ahmad Royaei, in an interview with the cultural reporter of Mizan News Agency , said: The Sand Festival will be held in Kish in cooperation with the Visual Arts Association on the occasion of the Persian Gulf National Day in May 2019.
He stated: "The Visual Arts Association has introduced 10 artists to the festival by judging and evaluating the submitted models, who will create sand works alongside 20 other artists."
The head of the Tehran Province Visual Arts Association stated: "Unlike the other 20 participating artists in the festival, the 10 artists introduced by the Visual Arts Association have not paid any fees for their participation and will not do so."
He emphasized: The works of this festival will be judged by Ahmad Nadalian, Jafar Najibi, Ali Abdullahi, Mohamad Ali Vadood and Shadi Habib , who have been selected by the Visual Arts Association.
Royaei reminded: A prize of 15 million Tomans has been set aside for the winner of this festival.
It should be noted that over the years, the Sand Sculpture Festival has become a popular festival among Kishvand residents, visual arts lovers, and artists, as interested participants create an interesting and imaginative art form on the beach using a combination of art, crafts, creative games, and visual adventure.
