The National Elite Foundation's Skills Council meeting was held at the foundation's premises with the presence of members.
According to Mehr News Agency, citing the National Foundation of Elites, the Skills Council of the National Foundation of Elites held a meeting with the presence of its members. At the beginning of the meeting, Izad Amjadi, Secretary of the Skills Council and Director General of the Monitoring and Networking Office of the Future Builders Deputy, welcomed the members and, in accordance with the first order of the meeting, provided explanations regarding the duties of the Skills Council based on the manual "Identifying, Developing, and Evolving Superior Literary, Artistic, and Skilled Talents on the Path to Eliteness."
The Director General of the Monitoring and Networking Office of the Future Makers' Deputy, while pointing out that the entry points to the elite path are through level 1 events and reputable institutions, stated that the main task of the council is to determine the level of events and determine reputable institutions.
He continued by referring to the development of the concept of elite in the foundation's new approach and the expansion of this concept from top academic talents to other fields such as art, literature, and skills, and said: "Currently, the foundation's main task is to prepare the way for top talents to begin moving into new fields to reach the level of elite."
Continuing the meeting, Mohammad Ali Nadi, a member of the Foundation's Skills Council and the Vice President of Educational and Skills Sciences at Islamic Azad University, stated the necessity of designing a coherent program after identifying the top talents and said: "Student development in skill-related fields is still based on its long-standing function, and for this reason, the National Foundation for Elites and its Skills Council must take a long view of creating an ecosystem in this field and at the same time try to improve the processes."
A member of the National Elite Foundation's Skills Council positively evaluated active identification, which is included as the foundation's main procedure, and added: "In addition to being accurate, this form of identification can help create a positive feeling among the foundation's audience and society."
Then, Mohammad Ali Wadood, elected to the World Handicrafts Council in 2022, stated that elites should be school builders, and explained the realization of this in an example of the importance of shaping the domain to reach the peak more quickly, and considered identifying superior talents from an early age and from the country's schools as a prerequisite for achieving this goal.
This member of the National Elite Foundation's Skills Council, while pointing out the importance of knowledge-based industries and products, acknowledged: "Given the creativity of identity-based industries, these industries are closer to elite areas."
Mousavi, another member of the Foundation's Skills Council and head of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Industry Relations at the National Skills University, also described the traditional view of skills as one of the problems in this field at the meeting, saying: "The traditional view of skills has led to a lack of attention to the essence of the competitions, which is to promote jobs."
Emphasizing that the winners in the field of skills must be ahead of both the educational system and the labor market, he said: "It is necessary, like in other countries, to hold competitions in domestic disciplines that are used solely in our country, in addition to global disciplines, to keep these professions alive and pass them on to future generations."
Mehdi Darai, a member of the Foundation's Skills Council and director of national and international skills competitions, also spoke about the policy-making role of the National Elite Foundation and pointed out the need to reform the course of Level 1 events in line with the active identification approach.
He continued by stating the duties of the elite talent management system in the country and said: In the field of highly skilled talents, the talent management system must be able to put the four tasks of "elite identification", "elite selection", "elite appointment" and "elite development" on its agenda in order to achieve the desired goals.
It is worth noting that at the end of this meeting, the rulings of the members of this council, which had reached the margin of Seyyed Salman Seyyedafiqhi, were granted to the members of the council.
